Our history
DH Hospital - Cumilla began in 2012 at Tomsom Bridge. It has been a consultation centre from the start — a place where a patient can see a doctor, have the tests done and, if needed, have an operation, all in one place.
-
2012 — the beginning
The hospital opened at Tomsom Bridge, beside Anjuman Mufidul Islam on EPZ Road, Cumilla. It was founded by Asrafernessa Mowsumi, who is still its Founding Chairperson.
-
Where it stands today
Fifteen specialist doctors now see patients across ten departments — medicine, gynae and obs, newborn and child, orthopedics, surgery, cardiology, ENT, neuro and spine, and skin and VD. Alongside them are the diagnostics department, the hospital's own pharmacy and a 24-hour ambulance service.

What has not changed
The hospital is still at that same Tomsom Bridge address, open 24 hours, every day. It can be reached easily from any part of Cumilla — which is why the location was chosen in the first place.
